Thanks for visiting my page.
This year I’m taking on “Moving Through May” to raise money through the Kier Foundation for some deserving charities, I’ve set myself a series of challenges.
1. Càrn Eige
Càrn Eige, the highest mountain in the North of Scotland, involving roughly 28 km of hiking through some of the most beautiful parts of the Highlands.
2. Ben Nevis
Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK at 1,345 m and around 17 km and more than 1,300 m of ascent. Add in the famously unpredictable Scottish mountain weather and it’s guaranteed to be a challenging day.
3. The National Three Peaks Challenge – with our Wanlip team
I’m delighted to be joining our Wanlip STW project team to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales — Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, within 24 hours.
The overall challenge
Roughly 82 km of mountain walking
Over 6,000 m of ascent - including summiting Ben Nevis twice
A few early starts and tired legs and long days on the hills
A fantastic cause
The Kier Foundation supports charities and community projects that make a real difference to people’s lives across the UK. If you’re able to support the challenge, even a small donation would mean a lot and will help.
Thank you for the support - I’ll be sure to share updates from along the way! ⛰️
