At the start of the year, the last in my 30s, I set myself a goal of running a half marathon by the end of May. I have always fallen in and out of running with my dodgy knees and it was only ever really 10k at max, so the step up to 21.1k seemed a big enough step for it to be marginally uncomfortable.
Coincidental timing has led me to sign up for the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run on the 18th May. Even more coincidentally it coincides with Kiers Moving Through May so thought I would combine the two to raise money for the Kier Foundation, to support charities chosen by the Kier regions and charities via the Kier Foundation match funding initiative.
