HR takes on Moving Through May!

Thursday 14th May
Rain? Typical British weather? A 10k walk? Challenge accepted. ☔🚶‍♀️ Today, the HR team took part in Keir’s Moving Through May - raising money for two incredible charities: Action for Children and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Despite the weather trying its best to slow us down, we powered through and completed the challenge… with a few memorable moments along the way, including celebrating a World Cup win at Trafalgar Square! 🏆 And, with a little help from AI 🤖, Harriet Eastaff’s team (Alison McCulloch Claire Lyon Assoc CIPD Elle Matthews Holly Lindsay Assoc CIPD Lisa McDougall MCIPD and me!!) managed to take the win for most creative photo. Safe to say we’ll be taking full credit for the teamwork and the Naturally Digital approach! Although the AI has definitely made some interesting appearance changes! We even made a quick stop at our infamous 10 Piccadilly site to say hello to the team and grab a photo! 📸 A huge thank you to Beth Amos, Vicki Pennal and Abbie Chesworth for organising, and to everyone who took part and made it such a fun afternoon. It was a brilliant way to support amazing charities, spend time together as a team, and prove that a little rain won’t stop us! #MTM26

Hey, hi, hello..

Wednesday 29th Apr
Moving Through May (so I can justify my step count obsession) 🚶‍♂️

This May, I’m taking part in Moving Through May - with a goal to walk at least 100km over the month.

Now, if you know me, you’ll know I love a step count… but this time it’s for two brilliant causes:
- Action for Children – supporting young people who, frankly, are being asked to grow up far too quickly in a world that isn’t making it easy for them
- The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity – helping fund life-changing research and breakthroughs in cancer treatment

Both charities are doing the kind of work that really matters - quietly changing lives behind the scenes.

🫵What I’m doing:
- Clocking up steps wherever I can (yes, I will be pacing during phone calls now)
- A 10K walk with colleagues on 14th May
- And a few “accidental” high-step days (including a trip where I somehow last time I averaged 16k steps a day… not entirely sure how with all the shops in the way)

🫵How you can help:
If you’re able to donate, I’d really appreciate it—every bit goes towards supporting these two incredible causes.

But also… I want ideas 👇
- What’s the most creative way you’ve got your steps in?
- Any challenges I should try?
- Should I be taking every call on a walk? (Probably yes)

Feel free to donate, share, or just send me step ideas to keep this interesting.

Thanks in advance for the support - whether that’s a donation, encouragement, or just judging my step count screenshots.

Thank you to my Sponsors
