We're back!

Welcome to Season 5 of Race the Trace. Once again we're asking our delivery and route-wide teams to go head to head to race the length of the trace to raise money for charity.

Since 2021, we have raised a grand total of £53,676 for a variety of local charities along the trace.

Join your team and get moving!

How does it work?

You earn points by exercising, and different types of exercise will earn you different amounts of points. All you need to do is enter how many minutes and which activity you did, and our new platform will work out your points and add them to your team's total for you. Magic!

If every team gets moving and earns points, EKFB will donate a total of £15,000 to local charities along the trace.

What charities are we supporting?

G2S Team - Woodford Halse Community Larder

This charity, ran by volunteers from the local community, operates a community larder which provides low cost, high quality and free food to members of all local communities.

T2G Team - South Northants Youth Engagement (SNYE)

This charity supports youth work in South Northamptonshire, providing various programs and activities for young people.

CA Team - Tiggywinkles

Tiggywinkles, The Wildlife Hospital Foundation, is a specialist hospital. Thanks to donations, they are a free service. Using the best veterinary care available, they are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating all species of British wildlife.

NC2A - The Pace Centre

Pace has been changing the lives of children with neurodisabilities. The unique Pace approach puts your child and family at the heart of everything we do. They run a therapy centre, as well as a specialist school in Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, and provide online resources and support.

RW Team - Little Miracles Milton Keynes

A branch of the Little Miracles charity, offering support, activities, and services for families with children who have additional needs, disabilities, and life-limiting conditions.

How does my team win?

Race the Trace is all about exercising and earning points with your team mates - and that's how you win.

This year we'll be calculating our winning team differently: the total number of team points will be divided by the number of registered team members to get the average, the team with the highest average will be our season 5 winners!

That means that if Team X has 40 registered members, and earns 2.7 million points, their team score will be 67,500. This means teams with a smaller number of registered members can compete with larger teams.

What are the prizes?

As well as receiving the coveted Race the Trace trophy, the winning team will recieve a team BBQ to celebrate their victory.

Individuals can also win prizes for raising the most funds for their team's charity or for earning the most activity points overall.
