Kier Foundation Awards 2023

05 Jul 2023

Last week we held our annual Kier Foundation Awards to celebrate the winners of Moving through May and recognise outstanding contributions and achievements over the past year.

Over 100 of you joined the Kier Foundation team at Edgbaston Cricket Ground to celebrate the many achievements of those taking part in Moving through May and support the Foundation and our charity partners.

We were joined by Faye Edmondson and Abbie Murphy (pictured below) from Every Youth (formerly End Youth Homelessness) as we are finishing our partnership having raised an amazing £487,000 for them, which has done many things including helping 158 young people into employment, education, and training opportunities.

Andrew Davies joined us to hand out a range of prizes for Moving through May category winners including to Amrit Sandu for most distance travelled through walking and running, whilst Louisa Finlay joined to hand out special recognition awards. Winners included Sandra Morgan for long standing dedication to the Foundation and Kier Construction Western and Wales for commitment to the charity partnership with EveryYouth.

We hear from Bex Staden, Kier Foundation Manager

“It was a fantastic day, surrounded by so many inspiring people. Thank you to everyone who came and who has done so much to support our fundraising efforts over the past year. The success of Kier Foundation is only due to the kindness and generosity of Kier people and we are so grateful to everyone for their ongoing support”
