Without volunteers, food banks in the Trussell network simply wouldn't exist. Give your time, or arrange a collection for you local food bank, and help them continue their vital work.
Volunteer for the Trussell
Every individual Kier employee can apply for two volunteer days per year, which may be taken together or separately. By using a Kier volunteer day you can help to make a real difference in the fight against poverty. Click here for the Kier volunteer policy.
Individual volunteering
It's easy to get involved with volunteering for the Trussell. Simply search for your nearest food bank, and contact them to find out how you can help out. If you are using a volunteering day to do this, please contact us at info@thekierfoundation.org
Group volunteering
If you are interested in finding out more about group volunteering, then please get in touch with the Trussell directly by contacting kier@trusselltrust.org. There are a range a ways to get involved, location and group size, and need dependent.
Arrange a food collection
Trussell food banks only exist thanks to public donations of items, and volunteer time. It's really simple to arrange a collection; contact your local food bank to find out the items they are most in need of and then get collecting!
Once you are ready to arrange to deliver your items, ensure you contact the food bank to arrange a convenient time to drop them off. Don't forget to get in touch with us at the Kier foundation, and let us know the value of your collection.
