I’m using this challenge to raise money for Action for Children, a charity that supports vulnerable children, young people and families across the UK. My goal is to raise £200, which would be matched by The Kier Foundation, doubling the impact of every donation.

Monday 21st SepA huge thank you to everyone who donated to my Maverick Race fundraising challenge! ❤️
The original plan was to take on the 52K Maverick Race in the Lake District, but unfortunately, due to high winds and very poor visibility on the highest peaks, both the 52K and marathon were cancelled for safety reasons.
Instead, I was moved onto the half marathon, which I completed in just over 5 hours! 🏃♂️⛰️
Although it wasn’t quite the challenge I’d originally signed up for, I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me. I set a fundraising target of £200, and together we managed to raise an amazing £390 - almost double the target! 🙌
Even better, Kier will match the first £200, taking the total raised to £590.
Thank you again to everyone who donated, shared, encouraged me or simply asked how it went. It genuinely means a lot and has made all those training miles worthwhile! ❤️
