What is Festive Clobber Day & Bake-Off?
This is a Group wide event taking place on Thursday 11 December where we are asking you to get together at your local office or site, don your festive outfit and bake some cakes and treats.
We challenge you to raise as much as you can to help Action for Children and those who need their support.
What is the photo competition?
This year the Kier Foundation is giving you the chance to win £250 to donate to a local Action for Children centre of your choice.
Your images must be uploaded to the All Company community on Your Kier with the hashtag #festiveclobber by midnight on 17 December 2025.
The winner will be announced on Thursday 18 December.
What if I am working remotely, can I still take part?
Yes absolutely, just wear your Festive Clobber on 11 December and make a donation to our festive campaign page
Don’t forget to take a selfie and uploaded it to the All Company community on Your Kier with the hashtag #festiveclobber by midnight on 17 December 2025.
Do we have to hold our event on 11 December?
If 11 December isn’t suitable you can organise your Festive Clobber Day and Bake Off on any day in December.
Please note that entries for the photo competition will close at midnight on Wednesday 17 December.
Do I need to state what ingredients are in my bake?
Yes. Please do produce labels or tags if you use ingredients that your team mates may be allergic to such as nuts, gluten, dairy etc and state what flavour the cake/bake is.
Do I have to raise a set amount?
No – there is no minimum or maximum amount. We’d like to raise as much as we can collectively as a Group. The Kier Foundation will match £ for £ in donations, up to £5,000.
We suggest a minimum donation of £1 for wearing festive clobber and £2 per bake-off treat.
Where is the money I raise going?
All funds raised will go to our Kier Group charity partner Action for Children.
Can we add other fundraising elements like a quiz to increase our fundraising efforts?
You sure can! The more you raise the more support there is for Action for Children.
Can I pay money in that has been donated to me in cash?
All payments on to the platform will need to be made with a credit or debit card. Please encourage all your sponsors to pay on to the donation page directly, but if you have been given cash please pay it into your own bank account and pay it onto the donation page yourself.
I've made a donation but it's not showing and I didn't get a receipt, will it have been received?
Please contact us direct at info@thekierfoundation.org with details of your donation amount, date paid etc and we can look into this for you.
I have a supplier that wants to make a large donation, but they don’t have a payment card. How can they donate?
Please contact us at info@thekierfoundation.org with all the details. We will raise an invoice for you to send on to them.
I don’t celebrate Christmas; can I still take part?
Absolutely, if you would like to that would be wonderful, our aim is to bring everyone together to raise funds for a worthy cause and have some fun in the process!
Do I need to register?
No formal regsitration is needed this year. We're happy for you to organise your festive fundraiser with your colleagues. Please send your photos to us at info@thekierfoundation.org and make any donations direct to the festive donation page
We are collecting donations as a whole Group, no seperate teams and no leaderboards for fundraising. We know this can be a difficult time for many, with your own Christmas gifts to buy, so just ask that you give as much or as little as you can to help others.
